Bibliography/Literature Cited: Limited to 1 page.

Grant Mechanisms: Research Grants (R); Program Project Center Grants (P); Training Grants (T); Career Development Grants (K); Cooperative Grants (U); and Educational Development Awards. Fellowships (F); Conference Grants (R13s) will not be considered for Revisions.

NIH ARRA Supplements

This is only a general overview of the Recovery Act Funds for Administrative Supplements as described in NOT-OD-09-056. More detailed information is available on each individual NIH Institute and Center (IC) websites.

Purpose: To promote job creation and economic development along with accelerating the pace and achievement of scientific research. To cover cost increases that are associated with increasing the tempo of scientific research funded under the parent grant. NIH will not consider requests which are solely to restore previously applied budget adjustments to a project nor to supplant institutional commitments supporting individuals and other costs previously committed to projects.

Eligibility: PI must have an active grant. The research/scientific activities proposed in the supplement must be accomplished within the current competitive segment.
